Syracuse jumped five spots in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll to No. 18 — its highest ranking in program history. The Orange (22-6, 12-3 Atlantic Coast) is coming off a win over Pittsburgh on Sunday and an upset of then-No. 10 Florida State on Thursday that guard Brittney Sykes called “program changing.”
SU has won eight games in a row for its longest conference winning streak of all-time.
Syracuse’s previous highest ranking was set last season when it started the year 7-1. The Orange reached No. 19.
SU finishes the regular season at Boston College at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
