PJ Batten, Taylor Hindy leave Syracuse football program
Tight end PJ Batten and walk-on offensive lineman Taylor Hindy have left the Syracuse football team, SU Athletics confirmed to The Daily Orange. Both players were removed from the team’s online roster. Syracuse.com first reported the news
Batten was absent from training camp and not at practices all spring. Batten took a redshirt year in 2013 and has never played in a game for Syracuse.
Hindy joined the team in 2014 after transferring from the University of Washington. He was forced to sit out that year due to transfer rules and played three snaps at center against Florida State in 2015.
